Our product architecture is built on BenQ Materials (TWSE: 8215) upstream film — paired with Taiwan-based precision processing, full certification coverage (BSMI / NCC / RoHS / CB), and a 5-year base warranty extendable to 10 years.
What is PDLC?
Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal — a smart optical film that switches from opaque to transparent in under 10 milliseconds. Apply AC 48V, the crystals align and the surface becomes clear. Remove power, and the film returns to its privacy state.
Why STARTEK PDLC

Choosing PDLC comes down to two performance axes: color temperature (CCT) and optical resolution. These determine how clear the view feels, how the opaque state looks, and how natural the overall visual experience is within a space.
2800–3000 K
Warm tones
Softer, warmer appearance. Ideal for residential privacy zones — bathrooms, bedrooms, hospitality. Slightly higher haze is acceptable because the setting is intimate, not display-critical.
4800–5000 K
Cool tones
Sharper perceived clarity and higher optical resolution in transparent mode — critical for offices, branded commercial spaces, display windows, and projection use-cases. Cooler, whiter appearance under lighting.

Warm 2800 K transparency creates a comfortable atmosphere without overwhelming the space. The widest available film width in our lineup (up to 1,800 mm) makes it ideal for large-panel applications.
